Louise Bobbe's work captures moments and alluring glimpses of the world of women in private moments at home. The effects are tantalizing, exquisitely crafted and often disarmingly sensual.

Louise works alone using a handheld camera and only
photographs her friends. She responds to the environment
and to the trust that her sitters are willing to extend to her.
The scenes are both beautiful and truthful; the sitters’ anonymity playing with the voyeuristic instincts of the viewer. The results are bold feminine images, capturing unique moments of intimacy.

Louise Bobbe has been commissioned by the English National Ballet, and has done portraits for the national press and magazines. Previous subjects include Vivienne Westwood, Dame Diana Rigg, Anish Kapoor, and Sir Paul Smith. Her work has featured in shows at the National Portrait Gallery and The Association of Photographers.
